LDC managers from all areas of the company gathered together this December to prepare and serve a holiday feast to the residents of the Laguna Rainbow Center. This annual event showcases LDC’s commitment to make more than just financial contributions to the Pueblo of Laguna. Volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to share laughs and smiles with the elder members of the Laguna community. Elders bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and expertise to a community – values to be admired by any leadership team.
Every year the residents at the Laguna Rainbow Center look forward to this event and this year was no different! Residents were able to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving dinner prepared by the award-winning Food & Beverage teams.
Director of Laguna Rainbow Center, Sandra Casper said, “We were extremely grateful for the wonderful food brought by LDC employees, their attitudes were terrific and the elders had a great time.”
LDC seeks to make a difference in the Pueblo of Laguna by engaging in community activities and volunteering year-round. It is with the help of great organizations such as the Laguna Rainbow Center for allowing employees the opportunity to be involved and build relationships with the local community.
