ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — February 27, 2026 — Tailwind Concessions and Laguna Development Corporation are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Laguna Burger location inside the Albuquerque International Sunport. The new restaurant, now open, brings one of New Mexico’s most celebrated and award-winning burgers to the
state’s busiest travel hub.
Laguna Burger, famed for earning the Best Green Chile Cheeseburger title for multiple years in a row, has grown from a single 24-inch grill at exit 114 in Laguna into one of the most recognized culinary names in the state. The brand is known for its fresh, never-frozen Certified Angus Beef, proprietary seasoning crafted to pair with Hatch green chile, and its steadfast commitment to keeping the original recipe unchanged.
