In June Ellis Entertainment, a subsidiary of LDC, announced the purchase of Ellis Park Racetrack and Casino in Henderson, Kentucky. With this new property, comes a plethora of opportunities for career advancement. Former LDC Corporate Director of Slots, Jeff Inman was promoted to General Manager at Ellis Park. Now, LDC employee Tammi Trancosa a member of the Pueblo of Laguna from the Village of Paguate, has been promoted to Human Resources Manager.
Tammi’s tenure with LDC is over 17 years with one year in Food & Beverage and 16 years in the Human Resources Department. Tammi shared that when she first learned of the purchase of Ellis Park, she immediately thought it could be an opportunity to advance her career, enhance her knowledge and experience in the field she is passionate about. Tammi praises the LDC Human Resources Management team for their guidance and support that has allowed her to thrive in her new role.
Tammi said, “Although it is far from home, it is truly a pleasure to continue working for Laguna in a new environment. I have had the tremendous gratification of assisting every employee that has crossed my path and look forward to meeting new faces. I am honored and excited to be given this opportunity”
