Based on the most recent reports from the New Mexico lodging industry, the Route 66 Hotel remains one of the busiest lodging properties in the entire state.
In the frst quarter of 2009 (January – March) the Route 66 Hotel attained a total occupancy of 79.3%* while according to the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report, hotels in Albuquerque averaged 51.8% occupancy during the same period.
“With a combination of competitive rates, excellent interstate location and high levels of service, the Route 66 Hotel team has done an outstanding job of making us a market leader” according to Director of Hotel Operations Don Billbrough. “Both our occupancy and revenue projections remain strong and we expect a solid summer performance.”
Route 66 Hotel also far outpaced occupancy rates in every other New Mexico lodging market including Santa Fe (45.6%), Taos (43.9%) and Las Cruces (53.3%)
Since the new Route 66 Casino Hotel opened in December of 2007, the hotel has consistently maintained one of the highest occupancy rates in New Mexico. Congratulations!
